What do the choirs have to do?

Record a performance of a song in the German language. Choose to enter one or both sections:

• Section 1:  OPEN Choral Performance of any song in German and/or

• Section 2:  Weihnachts- or Volkslied
  

Rules of the competition

• Language must be German
• Any style - from traditional to contemporary
• Group performances only, no solo performances
• Music sheets for choir members allowed
• Only one instrument is allowed to accompany the performance
• Uniforms / costumes allowed but not compulsory

Video the performance

Teachers video the performance and forward to the AGTV for short-listing and judging.

NB: Teachers will need to seek approval from the Principal to participate and gain permission from families to video the students for this competition. The AGTV will upload winning entries to the VIMEO website and may screen it at events.

Deadline for receipt of entries

• Friday, 20th October, 2017

• Register participation right up until the closing date.
