ABOUT THE GDO
The program at the Town Hall is coordinated by the AGTV in cooperation with Goethe-Institut Australia.
This has been a very successful event for many years. Students see that there are many other students learning German, and learn about the diverse range of opportunities skills in the German language provides.
The AGTV is grateful to the
Melbourne City Council for sponsoring the day and waiving the hire fee for the venue, and also to the Victorian Government for contributing funding towards the significant costs of AV on the day and travel allowances for students from country schools.
Teachers may organise activities at additional cost incl.
- MIFF NEXT GEN film in the German language
- NGV Wunderbar Germany
- Immigration Museum
- Restaurant visits
NB: Please note that it is not possible to offer food stalls on this day.
