Victorian State Final

Years 5 to 9 Poetry Competition

Date: Saturday 8th August 2015

Times:

Primary Judging starts at 10.30am (arrive 10.00am)

Secondary Judging starts at 1.30pm (arrive after 12.30pm)

Venue: Austrian Club, 90 Sheehan Road, Heidelberg West

The State Final is only students from current AGTV member schools who have competed in a Regional Final.

General Information about the Competition

• The competition is only open to students from current AGTV member schools.

• Schools register their participation in the competition.
  

• Students select and learn a poem in the German language to recite by heart from either the DaF or OPEN set of poems.
  

• AGTV member schools registering for the competition may enter students in a Regional Final. These finals are organised within AGTV Networks.
  

• Eligible prize-winners at Regional Finals are invited by the AGTV Committee to enter the State Final.
  

This competition is supported with funding from the Victorian government to the AGTV.

NB: Students in Years 10 to 12 may enter the university competition hosted in alternate years by Monash University and the University of Melbourne. In 2015, it is the University of Melbourne.
