AGTV Schreibwettbewerb 2023
The competition is open to students learning German in AGTV member schools.
Theme: Lebensgeschichten
Task: Research or interview and write about a German-speaking person in Australia. Choose one of the formats to produce a Lebensgeschichte about this person.
Formats:
- Steckbrief
- Poster
- Magzenbeitrag (100 to 300 words)
Schools select 4 entries per format per year level to forward for state final judging.
Only one entry per student.

Prizes: Awarded for primary and secondary entries for each format.
Certificates of Participation: will be forwarded to the school for teachers to complete for all students who produce an entry for school selection.
Entries accepted anytime until: Saturday 16th September
Prize winners will be announced in Term 4.
The AGTV reserves the right to publicly display, share or publish entries in print or on a website.
Authentication: Schools must make a declaration that the entries are the students' own work.The Committee recommend making this a task for class to facilitate authentication. Teachers may provide some assistance in the drafting process but the writing should be the student's work.
Teachers need to indicate the language level of the student in relation to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) from A1 to B2+. See the School Entry form for further details.
