About the Presenter
Gianfranco Conti, PhD. Co-author of 'The Language Teacher toolkit', 'Breaking the sound barrier: teaching learners how to listen', 'Memory: what every teacher should know' and of the 'Sentence Builders' book series. Founder and CEO of www.language-gym.com, co-founder of www.sentencebuilders.com and creator of the Extensive Processing Instruction (EPI) approach.
Program: Developing the EPI Curriculum
Please bring a mini-whiteboard and marker to the workshop
Topics include:
- Key components of EPI curriculum design
- The principles underpinning effective short, medium and long-term planning
- The procedures involved in design, implementation, and evaluation of a course
- Acquisition-enhancing strategies, for example, recycling, interleaving, universals and fluency training
- The role of assessment as a means to advance learning
Also an an excellent opportunity for in person professional networking.
Registration Cost (GST not included)
The AGTV is not registered for the GST and is not required to produce tax invoices.
There is a place for the school order no. on the registration form if required.

$150 - Current individual members of the AGTV (log in to access the member rate)
$100 - Concession individual members (retired, language assistants, life members)
$210 - Non-members*

NB: There is a place to enter a school purchase or order number on the form if your school requires this.
Note to Members: Individual members must register themselves and log in to their personal profile (top right hand corner of website) with their email and personal password to access the member rates.

Confirmation of Registration: An automatic notice of registration is forwarded to the registrant's email upon registration, A confirmation is sent when payment is received. Payment is preferred prior to the event but if you have registered, you are on the list.
Payment options: bank transfer or online with a credit card with Paypal Express.
If your school is paying for your registration: Please print the invoice with the school purchase or order number and forward for payment. Please assist our volunteer Treasurer and follow up with your school to ensure payment is made.
