AGTV Competitions 2026
AGTV Competitions offered in 2026 include Kunst und Poesie, Puppenspielfest, Werbeclip, Song des Jahres, Chor des Jahres and by separate registration, the Du bist dran! competition, and registrations for the AGTV Poetry Individual Competition and the AGTV Poetry Group Performance competition.

Who can enter
Students learning German at AGTV member schools are eligible to enter an AGTV competition.
How to register participation of students from your school
Teachers register the participation of students from their school or class in one (or more) of the competitions offered by completing a registration and indicating the competition or competition students will enter.
You may register for one or more competitions and return at a later date to complete another registration for for another competition anytime up until the closing date:

How to enter
Download the details and entry forms for each competition from the AGTV Competitions page on the AGTV member website. Please follow the instructions and submit entries with entry form/s to the designated email for each competition.
NB: Please check the competition details for each competition as some have changed.
Deadline for entries is Saturday 12 September 2026
NB: The Goethe-Institut offers a fabulous competition for students of German (usually in Years 9 or 10). All teaching materials supplied. The competition will run in Terms 2 and 2. Visit their website for further details and view previous winning entries:
