German Day Out 2013 - Thursday 25 July
The program at the Melbourne Town Hall runs this year from 11.00am to 12.30pm.
Cost $2 per student for students from AGTV Member Schools.
Teacher packs of goodies with each school booking.
The AGTV organises the program at the Town Hall and is grateful to Victorian Government through DEECD, City of Melbourne and Goethe-Institut Australia for financial support for the GDO.
Afternoon Program - Managed by Teachers
Teachers may wish to book students in for the MIFF Next Gen film in German. 'Patty's Catchup' will screen at THE FORUM at 1.30pm and screens fo 86 minutes.
Cost $11 per student, or
$8 for students from MLTAV member schools
Ideas for further activities include a visit to the Exhibition at the Shrine of Remembrance (Internment Camps), the National Gallery, Immigration Museum, Migration Bridge, Victoria Market, Swiss or German restaurants.
