AGTV Years 4 to 9 Poetry Competition 2026
Open Group Performance Competition
Teachers film* a group performance of a poem to submit for state final judging.
*NB: Performances may be screened publicly or uploaded to a website. Please obtain appropriate permission from parents/carers.
Maximum of 2 entries per school or campus submitted by 12 September 2026.
Teacher/s register your school's participation (separate to the individual competition).
Competition Details
The group performance can be in any style (e.g. Formal, Rap etc).
No props or costumes.
A group must have at least 3 members learning German from Years 4 to 9 at a current AGTV member school.
Groups can be any combination of students learning German at the school e.g. DaF and Open, primary and secondary, multi-year level, single year level.
Students who enter the Individual section (DaF or Open) may also be part of an Open Group Performance.
Judges decision is final.
Prize winners announced in Term 4.
